We are a Swedish cleantech chemical company that develops a novel sustainable chemical process for the fixation of nitrogen from the air.
In 2016
Gustaf Forsberg and Peter Baeling got an idea on a novel industrial nitrogen fixation process. A company was started, that later got the name NitroCapt.
In 2018
The company was accepted to join the EU-sponsored InnoEnergy Highway incubation programme, including funding for 3 years.
In 2020
A proof-of concept was achieved and two patent applications were filed.
In October 2021
NitroCapt was listed as one of the 10 most promising cleantech companies in the Nordic and Baltic region by Nordic Cleantech Open.
NitroCapt was also awarded as one of the top-3 "Impact makers of the year" for Swedish startups in the food business by the organization Livsmedel i fokus.
